幼稚園サークルタイム

In this ongoing class we will cover academic skills needed to prepare for kindergarten.  During learning time students will be invited to join me and sing songs, dance, count, practice writing, learn A-Z letters and words, have fun with rhyme time and tongue twisters, enjoy daily micro-lessons in Math, Science, Language Arts and Social Studies (1 topic per day).  Students will enjoy participating, playing imagination games and mastering classroom skills.  I will provide weekly print-outs in the Classroom Tab prior to Monday's class that students may color and work on during class. (Please have a special folder for "to be completed" and "completed" papers)  Learners will have the chance to engage with my friendly puppets while they listen for the Word of the Day, learning the days of the week, months, all about the weather and more.   We will also take "field trips" via video to learn about wild and unique animals.

Learners will have the opportunity to share a favorite item during Show and Tell each Thursday and we will have special dress up and theme days now and then.   This class will help prepare them a bit for a Kindergarten atmosphere.  

I love seeing children blossom and get excited to share what they've learned!   Learners may enroll or withdraw at any time.

As an extra help, I am happy to reply to any worksheets that your Learner would like to share with me that they complete after class, via the classroom email, and give them special awards and stars to encourage and excite them in learning new things.  :)

For our fitness time I have a special exercise board that utilizes large dice to choose each exercise.  My students love to see which square we will land on each time and we will all do 1-2 exercises together as well as song/movement time opportunities.
