"Pre-Algebra Foundations: Mastering the Basics - Part 1" is an interactive summer course designed for students aged 11-13. This course meets four times a week for two weeks and is tailored to prepare students for their upcoming pre-algebra class in the fall or to reinforce concepts learned in the previous school year. As the first installment of a three-part series, this course focuses on laying a solid foundation in essential pre-algebra topics, including ratios and proportional relationships, operations with fractions, and basic algebraic expressions and equations.

Each session of this course is designed to be engaging and interactive, using a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles. Students will participate in hands-on activities, digital learning games, group work, and real-world problem-solving scenarios that make learning pre-algebra concepts fun and relatable.

In each session of our Pre-Algebra Foundations series, we embody a teaching philosophy centered on three pivotal actions: Engage, Encourage, and Empower.
