初等代数コース - 26 週間

Math doesn't have to be hard or boring! 

This class is formatted in an, "I do, we do, you do" format. Meaning students receive a lesson on the new math skill for the week, we have a practice day where we work through the math problems together, and then finish the week out with fun team-building game reviews! 

Class is held 3 days a week and looks like this! --> 
Day 1: [ 5-10 minute review on last week's math skill. Teacher instructed lesson for the new week's skills. ]
Day 2: [ 5-10 review of this week's lesson. Students are then given virtual whiteboards with practice questions and plenty of time to work as a team to complete math problems. ]
Day 3: [ 5-10 minute review of this week's lesson. Students are then directed to their weekly Blooket game where math problems, terminology, and math formulas are put into flashcards and fun video games! ]

Class is designed to be fun and interactive - I encourage students to leave their cameras on and be prepared to participate in class discussions.  

Pre-algebra consists of order of operations, light geometry review, fractions, decimals, one and two-step algebra equations, graphing inequalities, word problems, combining like terms, distributive property, etc.

Each student will receive login information for their own virtual homework portal. I would also encourage the creation of a student account on Blooket.com, we'll use this in class for a fun version of flashcard practice. (They do not need their own account in order to play, but if they create their own, they can save their progress, earn, and save points to trade in for new characters and games!)
