Welcome to Pokemon School! At this school we are able to practice speaking and learning English while talking about a topic that we love: Pokemon! Each week we will talk about a different Pokemon and their types. Students are free to bring any Pokemon cards, books or toys that include those Pokemon types! Students will be able to talk about their favorite Pokemon with Teacher Pokemon Joe and with other students in the class! Please note we will continue discussing a different Pokemon type each week!

I have been a teacher for 10 years working with students in this age range (4 to 7 years old). During this time I have taught many different subjects, including ELA, ESL and science. I have taught students who have performed very well in school and State exams. When teaching subjects to students I believe that teaching it in a fun way allows it to be learned easier.
