In this ONGOING WEEKLY class, learners will use Play-Doh (Dough) to shape letters, and learn letter sounds, while developing their fine motor skills and creativity while socializing! This class will run on a 26 (letters A-Z) lesson cycle-after our 26th lesson, the letter of the week will repeat. We will meet 2X a week, focusing on a different letter each day, during the cycle. *****This class is perfect for your learner if they enjoy playing and creating with Play Doh! The 🖐🏼 sensory 🖐🏼 experience helps to develop fine motor skills, ease tension in a calming way, enhance focus and🖐🏼 hand-eye 👁️ coordination, and improve imagination 💭 !!!***** ⭐️ 🚨 Please note that Play-Doh may contain wheat, which could cause an allergic reaction if ingested in those sensitive to wheat gluten or with Celiac disease.🚨⭐️ 🌈Each class will include the following activities: -Welcome to all learners 👩🏻🏫 -Introduction to the letter of the day with colorful slides 🔠 -Sharing from learners of objects / words they know with the day's letter -Let's Make the Letter! (Using printable PlayDoh mat- found in our Outschool classroom before class) *After enrolling your child, please print, if possible. The classroom will be updated each week before class for you to print the new letter mats of the week. -Let's Create! Learners will create their own Letter A, B, C.... object (one that begins with that letter sound-example Dd- learner will use Play Doh to create a dog, duck, dolphin, deer.... your learner's choice!) -Let's Share! 🗣️ Learners will chat with the teacher and other learners to show their creations! *Please note that if we need a few more minutes of time for creating and sharing, I may extend the class slightly from time to time. 📆Weeks 1-26 will follow the order below: Week of June 9th: Y, A Week of June 16th: J, Q Week of June 23rd: S, F Week of June 30th: K, R Week of July 7th: T, H Week of July 14th: L, N Week of July 21st: V, B Week of July 28th: O, P Week of August 11th: M, I Week of August 18th: W, G Week of August 25th: X, U Week of September 1st: D, E Week of September 8th: C, Z ***After Letter Z, the cycle of letters above will be repeated, beginning with Letter Y.

****Please make sure your learner has plenty of Play Doh or dough (and tools) available to make their creations! They will also need a counter top or space to work. ***Please print the 'Letter Mat' found in the 'Outschool Classroom Page' once you have enrolled. This page will be available to print a day or two before each new class. It will be used as a reference for shaping our dough letters!****
