Great class for musical summer fun! If you would like to request a specific song as one of our playalongs, please message me! Student submissions will be screened to ensure they are clean and school-friendly, as well as simple enough to be played without previous piano experience.

This ongoing class will give students the chance to learn simplified chord patterns from some of their favorite pop songs, which they can play alone or along with a recorded track. Each week will feature a different song and will include information about reading and playing basic chord tabs, demonstrations and tips to make playing this week's song more achievable, and guided playthroughs with individualized feedback. Students will also be provided with the chord charts used so they can continue to practice and perform outside the class.

This is not a formal piano method course and previous piano knowledge is not necessary, although participation in multiple classes will greatly enhance students' ability to identify and successfully recreate commonly used chords.
