We will primarily focus on reading and spelling short vowel words (CVC) in this class through fun and engaging activities such as phonics bingo, picture/word sorts, reading decodable texts, and other literacy activities and games! I am a reading specialist trained in helping students learn to read and write. I have my Masters in Literacy and my Bachelors in Elementary Education. I am trained in a variety of phonic programs including the Orton-Gillingham approach.
Your child should have a dry-erase board and markers. Paper and markers is also fine.
