ドラゴンのためのフォニックス（早期読解スキル）

In this fun, movement-based class, little dragons will learn basic phonemic awareness skills. These skills involve sound identification, rhyming, syllables, blending, and segmenting. We will breathe fire, fly through the air, and do power stomps while practicing these new skills. This class focuses on the development of the skills necessary to blend sounds together and break them apart, rather than the letters associated with those sounds. 

We will use a variety of dragon-themed activities to create visual and kinesthetic strategies to blend and segment words. This will help every little learner find a strategy that works for them. Learners are welcome to bring a dragon toy or stuffed animal to practice their strategies.

**Please note: There will be times when I will mute all learners to be sure each student can clearly hear the sounds in the words. If your child cannot reliably unmute themselves to ask or answer a question, please be nearby!**
