小学生高学年向け個別数学指導

Throughout this course, I will assess individual profiles to determine student needs in the areas of mathematics. The topics within the tutoring experience will be structured around student level. Below is a list of possible lesson topics, but these could change depending on areas of need.
-Multiplication
-Division
-Place Value
-Addition/Subtraction of Multi Digit Numbers
-Rounding
-Word Problems

Each session will be structured as following:
5 minute greeting/rapport building activity 
15 minutes of explicit instruction 
15 minutes of guided practice (games, activities, and challenges to practice the skill)
10 minutes of independent practice

Throughout each element of the tutoring session, students will engage with a variety of tools for learning, including but not limited to: games, challenges, and hands-on practice. 

As a teacher, I pride myself on taking time to get to know my students' interests and motivations to create a classroom environment that fosters intrinsic motivation to learn. I hope to engage your child and build his or her literacy skills as we go!
