***Flexible Dates/Times*** In this one-on-one math session, I will assess your child's current math number sense level and abilities. I will provide a caring and encouraging atmosphere for students to feel confident in answering all questions. This evaluation determines if your child is performing at, below, or above grade level. Your child will be assessed in following areas (applicable to the grade level and time of year): -Number words and numeral identification -Counting and Cardinality -Structuring numbers -Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, or Division -Place Value During this 45-minute session, I will work with your child for 30-35 minutes to examine their math strengths and weaknesses in the areas that you report as needing attention. Then we will spend approximately 10 minutes talking over my observations and recommendations. I will follow up this verbal consultation with a written summary within 1-3 days. After completion of the assessment and written summary, I am happy to tutor your child if you would like but that is not required. This assessment is completely separate from any tutoring services. I look forward to working with you!

Students will use be given a diagnostic math assessment based off common core math standards. Most questions will be screenshared.

There will be two parts to the assessment, a verbal part where no paper/pencil will be needed and a written part where the learner will need paper/pencil or whiteboard/marker to solve mathematical equations.
