🤩 Ready to level up your child's Spanish? This class is for advanced Spanish learners who want to become better writers. We'll explore different writing styles, from poems to short stories. They'll learn to express with confidence and improve their grammar 📖
Note: This class is taught entirely in Spanish.

Each week, we'll delve into a different writing styles:

✨ Week of April 24th (in all sections): The Art of Storytelling: Fairy Tales
- Creative writing: Structure of a short story. Approach, middle and end.
- Grammar:  Review of orthography, punctuation marks and accentuation rules.

✨ Week of May 1st (in all sections): The Magic of Poetry 
- Creative writing: Writing poems that evoke emotion and imagery.
- Grammar:  Review of orthography, punctuation marks and accentuation rules.

✨ Week of May 8th (in all sections): Living Dialogues: Theatre
- Creative writing: Create a conversation between two characters. Writing scenes that advance the plot through dialogue.
- Grammar:  Review of orthography, punctuation marks and accentuation rules.

✨ Week of May 15th (in all sections): Ad Wizards: Design to Persuade!
- Creative writing: Design of a graphic advertisement, including text, images, and a catchy slogan.
- Grammar: Review of orthography, punctuation marks and accentuation rules.

✨ Week of May 22nd (in all sections): Comic Creators: Draw Your Story
- Creative writing: Creating a short comic, design their characters, create panels, and write dialogue and narration.
- Grammar: Review of orthography, punctuation marks and accentuation rules.

Grammar and Orthography:
-Identifying and correcting common grammatical errors;
-Mastering Spanish punctuation and accentuation rules;
-Improving vocabulary and sentence structure.
Creative Writing Techniques:
-Exploring different literary genres (poetry, short stories, creative non-fiction);
-Character development and plot building;
-Dialogue writing;
-Developing a personal writing style.
- Practice reading comprehension.

What topics will I cover? 👩‍🏫

-Grammar: Verb tenses, pronouns, adjectives, adverbs, prepositions, conjunctions;
-Orthography: Spelling rules, accents, punctuation, homonyms, homophones;
-Literary Genres: Poetry, short stories, creative non-fiction and more;
-Writing Techniques: Character development, plot structure, dialogue, description, point of view.
-Reading comprehension.
