We'll explore her life and vibrant paintings, including her masterpiece "Viva la Vida Watermelons." Get ready to create your own Frida-inspired artwork using watercolors and crayons!Week 3Lesson 3Alfred SisleyThis week, we're meeting Alfred Sisley, an Impressionist master of color! We'll explore his landscapes, then create our own vibrant masterpieces using crayons and watercolors. Get ready to unleash your creativity!Week 4Lesson 4Edvard MunchThis week, we meet Edvard Munch, a Scandinavian artist known for his powerful emotions! Explore his life, art movements, and The Scream. Each learner will need: - A watercolor set - A brush (any size will do) - A cup with water to clean the brush - Set of crayons (or oil pastels) - Heavy white paper (watercolor paper is preferred but not completely necessary) - Table protection (newspaper, butcher paper etc). - Smock or old t-shirt to keep the paints off of your child's clothing
Parents are encouraged to be close by during the classes to help their learner with the painting process to minimize spills (especially with electronics close by!) and to make sure their paints and markers stay on the paper.
