Welcome to the Outschool Multimedia Club Project Lab. These labs are private live-meeting creative spaces for teens participating in the Outschool Multimedia Club.

In the Outschool MMC Project Lab, teens will work with an Outschool Learner Community moderator or guest educator to collaborate on larger-scale projects. Projects may include assembling the Literary Magazine, creating videos, making podcasts, and doing other larger-scale content creation.

The available projects will change each quarter, so please check within your Multimedia Club flex class to find out what the next projects are and for registration links. 

Learners who are participating will need access to a a Google Drive account and a Canva account for students. These apps are also required for participating in the Multimedia Club.

Literary Magazine Publishing Project (February/March) - SECTION FULL
Teen creators will collaborate together to create the 2023 Literary Magazine using Canva. 

The Great Outschool Campout Super Topic Secret Video Series (April/May) - SECTION FULL
Teen creators will write, direct, and edit a shortvideo series that will be featured during the Great Outschool Campout. Learners who love to act are also welcome!

Gamecon Game-Building Project - Part 1 (June-August)
Teen creators will collaborate to come up with a concept for a playable branching logic game for Gamecon.

Gamecon Game-Building Project - Part 2 (September-December)
Teen creators will build the playable branching logic game for Gamecon. There will be opportunity to use art, writing, acting, animation, music-creation, and other skills. Learners can sign up for the roles that interest them and everyone will have an opportunity to build components of the game that interest them.
