Optical illusions are images that are created to challenge visual perception, a topic studied by cognitive psychologists.  

In this class, students will be shown a variety of optical illusions and encouraged to discuss what they see.  Rather than telling students what to look for, I will pose questions and try to get as much student participation as possible.
