In this ongoing class, you will learn new vocabulary, phrases, and common sentence structures in various situations.  Rather than looking up new words in a dictionary, you will learn how to use them in a setting/a scenario.  
There is a topic for each lesson, and there are 30 to 40 different topics, which will rotate.  Here are the topics of the 15 to 20-week meetings: 
Week 1 02/20/2024    Talking about yourself, family, and your city with descriptive adjectives.
Week 2 02/27/2024:  Asking your friends about the weekend and his/her plan for the following week. 
Week 3 03/05/2024  Talking about your past experiences.
Week 4:03/12/2024   Talking about your future goal and career.
Week 5: 03/19/2024  Talking about your daily routine.
Week 6: 03/26/2024 Learning about school in Japan.

Each lesson consists of: practice pronunciation and sentences, Q & A, short dialogue, and role play. This class will be conducted mainly in Japanese except for the explanation of grammar.  The presentation slides will be in Hiragana and Katakana most of the time.  The presentation slides for each week will be shared with all the participants so that they can review after class.
