Students will learn to read and write simple Japanese.  Students will be able to introduce themselves and family members, and friends. Students will be able to count up to at least 100.

Certified teacher for Japanese (EC-12), Mandarin(EC-12) and Art(EC-12).  I grew up speaking Japanese, Mandarin and Taiwanese, so I have no problem mixing them up to meet your need. Many years of freelance tutoring experience for Japanese and Mandarin have helped me teaching all levels of Japanese including Pre-AP and AP classes at my former employment at a public high school.

Assessments may be offered with a written request in advance.  I will be able to conduct informal assessment based on learner's participation as well as from the learner's written work from class assignment.

Grades will be offered in encouraging messages with specific comment on student work turned in to me while the classes are running.
