Olympiad Math is a way of comprehensive training to students applying mathematical logic together with analysis on graphics, shape, color, size, weight, and distance on problem-solving. It is effective to improve children's communication and logical thinking. The class will be an hour weekly class, questions will be discussed during the class. Those questions are similar to IQ questions and require kids to solve them in their own way. It just likes playing math games in class. Students need a basic knowledge of math, plus, and minus. I will teach multiply and division by using examples. Week of June 2nd: Looking for a Pattern, The tory of Gauss, Problems from Planting Trees, Tricks in Addition and Subtraction Week of June 3rd: Tricks in Multiplication and Division, The Age Problem, Solve Using Model Week of June 4th: Logic, Counting, Working Backward, The Shortest Path Week of June 5rd: Problem on Journey, Finding Cubes, Pigeonhole Principle, Finding Perimeter

During the class, all students have chances to read questions. The same worksheet will be shared with the group. Students can review the questions that they have learned. There is no assignment. Happy learning!

My name Paul Yiu, I am an online teacher and mainly teaching Olympiad math, Coding (Scratch 3.0 and Python), and Abacus math. I have master's degrees in Computer Science and Information Services Management, a Brain Gym instructor, Play Therapist, Abacus, and Olympiad Math mentor, committed to providing after-class programs with group classes and 1:1 individual tutoring services for mainstream and SEN (special educational needs) students since 2013.
