In this 6 week teacher directed but student led class, students will not only read the text of 𝘑𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘺 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘊𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘌𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘩 but also research the historical context of the story, observe character descriptions, and discover literary techniques used by the author. Because of the length of the novel, students will read the majority of the text before each session and come prepared for class discussion. I hope my energetic approach to literature will help your student see the lasting power of 𝘑𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘺 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘊𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘌𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘩 by Jules Verne.
