Bring your tea or favorite drink to listen, narrate, and discuss stories. 

Students will listen and practice retelling stories like Alice in Wonderland, and stories from The Blue Fairy Book.  We may also read some nature stories or poems.  Stories will often take more than one class to complete.  After each reading, students will be asked to narrate what they heard.  Then we will discuss the passage.  Discussion may include questions about the story, vocabulary, or what if/what next type questions.  Students may also be asked to draw or write a short passage related to the reading.  Students are encouraged to share their creations if there is time before the end of class.  

This class will focus on helping students remember what they have heard, practice speaking skills, and formulate their own creative story ideas.

**Learners may join at any time.  At the beginning of class, students will be asked to narrate what they remember from our last reading.

*Please have paper and pencils available during class.

**Policy**
Per Outschool policy, if a student is more than 10 minutes late, it will be considered a missed class and not eligible for a refund.  If no students have arrived at a class by 12 minutes after the start time I will end the class. If a student needs to cancel class, I will offer a reschedule when possible or issue a refund, as long as I am notified more than 24 hours in advance. In the case of a teacher scheduling conflict, I will offer to reschedule the class or issue a refund for the missed class.
