In this private 1:1 music theory class, students of all ages will enjoy personalized lessons designed just for them! Whether they’re brand new to music or have already taken music lessons before, this class meets them exactly where they are.

Reading and writing music notation

Rhythm, beat, and meter

Key signatures and scales

Intervals and ear training

Music symbols, terms, and patterns

Classes can be taught in English or Spanish, and every lesson is customized to the student’s level and age. For younger learners, I include fun and interactive activities like drawing, coloring, movement, games, and singing. Older students might work with examples from sheet music, complete short assignments, or listen to music clips together.

Every class is designed to be fun, encouraging, and packed with useful information to help each learner feel more confident and curious about music. Students will have lots of time to ask questions, participate, and enjoy the learning process—at their own pace.
