CULMINATING PROJECT: There will be eight options available for culminating projects, so that the students can choose one that suits the individual personalities. Modifications can be made if the student confers with the teacher ahead of time. I’ll provide a selection of ideas so that you can get your creativity moving! These options will offer activities in several different learning styles and will allow students to create and share through documents, photos, or videos. Rubrics will be provided for each project option.

When I was growing up, we traveled a lot, and I always looked forward to a new trip because my mother would buy a new stack of books for me. I would sit for hours in the back seat of our car and read. Whenever I ran out of books to read, I would read the billboards and every highway sign very loudly. That was rather tedious for my parents, so I'm sure that's why they always made sure I had plenty of books to read!
