Students will socially interact with other students and discuss video games and other various topics.  Students will answer prompts and questions from the teacher and participate in whole group discussion and sharing.

I am a state certified, highly qualified teacher with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education (Michigan State University, B.A.) and a Master’s degree in Music Composition (Wayne State University).  I have taught elementary and middle school music in the Michigan Public Schools for 10 years.  I have done extensive scholarly research into video game music and have presented on this topic at several graduate music conferences (U of Toronto, U of Kansas City-Lawrence, etc). 

I play video games a little more than I would like to admit, so I know all the ins-and-outs of the gaming world to help facilitate student discussion!  I am also a passionate teacher, musician, and artist with a wealth of other resources to help students connect to their passions and develop social relationships.
