Wake up and stretch! This class is for learners ages 8-12 looking to increase flexibility and release tensions in the body. No previous training or certain degree of flexibility is needed. Let's open our bodies and clear our mind for the day and days to come! We will start class with ten minutes of movement to get the body prepared for stretching. We will then move into stretches and movement meant to increase flexibility in the body. This forty minute class will have you rejuvenated and relaxed!

Please have an open space. Learners will stand and also do stretches on the floor. If learners have tile or other hard flooring, I recommend having a yoga mat/towel/blanket for learners to use. Learners should have water handy so they do not need to leave the zoom screen. Please wear appropriate comfortable clothing learners can move and stretch in.

Hello all!
Miss Macey here, a passionate dance educator from Florida.
For the past five years I have taught students ranging from 5-18 ballet, contemporary, jazz, tap, and improvisational dance classes. I have also set solo and group dances for competition students.
I obtained my Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in dance from New World School of the Arts/University of Florida in May of 2021. I now dance professionally with a dance company in Florida and am the competition director at a studio.
I have attended numerous summer intensives such as Alonzo King LINES ballet, the Radio City Rockettes Summer Intensive, Hubbard Street Pre-Professional summer intensive and many more!
I love sharing my love for the arts with students, and helping them to discover their fullest potential! My goal as a teacher is to encourage and motivate students to be the best version of themselves, giving 100%, while of course, having fun.
