このクラスで学べること
This camp is for the child who loves video games or creating their own stories in any format. Learners will work together to build a world unique to their vision and troubleshoot how to bring it to life. These concepts can apply for world building applicable to writing, creating games, creating videos and so much more! Day 1 -We will research and explore what makes some of our favorite worlds recognizable and successful. We will define what world building is, and who is responsible for it...
Over the course of the 5 days we will focus on: -Creativity and Innovation: Students demonstrate creative thinking, construct knowledge and recommend innovative products and processes using technology. -Learners will identify the building blocks for story development using principles as applied to the gaming industry. -Learners will learn the foundations of building a believable setting specific for use in writing, video game creation, movies or other forms of fiction. Learners will be able to use worksheets and logical reasoning to create their fictional world and apply that world to other forms of their creation.
As an instructor in business learning, through my day job I utilize gamification theories to create adult learning focusing on communication, empathy, and process based concepts. Game theory in the workplace is stronger now then ever before with the advent of the mobile phone being a driving force behind shorter attention spans in the information age.
