Every other day of the year (and everyday in July) the Royal Guards change at Buckingham Palace. In this class, we will attend this event! By the magic of video, we will walk with the guards as they make their way from St. James's Palace to Buckingham Palace on their morning guard change duty. As a tour guide, I show visitors to London this ceremony, and I am delighted to share it with you. Walk with the guards and learn the route of this ceremony. You will also learn about the guards themselves, what regiment they serve with, and many significant facts about their iconic uniform. Once the ceremony is complete, you will learn what happens to the guards next, and where do the off-duty guards go. If you can't make it to London for a visit in person, this is the next best thing!
