In this one-time class, I will be walking ukulele learners through the seasonal favorite, "Monster Mash", as well as another beloved hit, "Stand By Me" by Ben E. King. 
I know what you're thinking. What in the world do these songs have to do with one another? Funny enough, musically, these songs are actually composed very similarly! 
Upon making this observation, I thought it could be meaningful to present the spooky themes presented in "Monster Mash" and follow them up with the theme of courage and companionship presented in "Stand By Me". 

**Disclaimer** while "Monster Mash" holds a lighthearted and jovial tone throughout the entire song, it still may be a little too spooky for some learners.

Difficulty Level:
While I am labeling this an "easy" class, this is not intended to be a "first-day of ukulele" type of lesson. If an introductory style class is more suitable, please check out my "Tune In To Music" ukulele course.
The focus of this lesson will place emphasis on rhythm. Forming chords and strumming, etc. While prior knowledge of playing different chords is not required, it is recommended and encouraged. 

Learners will be provided "chords & lyrics" style song sheets so that we can all have something uniform to follow along with together. Song sheets will be available for download in the Outschool classroom. 

Please have song sheets either printed out or ready to view on a device prior to the start of class.
Please have your instruments tuned as well.
