*****Note: Learners MUST have a copy of Monster Hunter Wilds (PC, Xbox, or PS5) and permission to play online to fully participate.***** Join our Monster Hunter Wilds four-player link party and take your hunting skills to the next level! In this ongoing club, learners will build teamwork, refine strategies, and optimize their gear while hunting powerful monsters. We always support the lowest Hunter Rank (HR) player to ensure everyone progresses together. *****What Will Be Taught?***** Teamwork & Communication: Learn to coordinate effectively with teammates. Monster Strategy: Understand monster weaknesses, attack patterns, and best counters. Build Optimization: Improve your armor, skills, and weapon choices for different hunts. Real-Time Adaptation: Develop strategies to handle unexpected challenges during hunts. *****Teaching Approach***** I provide real-time coaching and adaptive support, ensuring each learner gets guidance suited to their level. My teaching style is interactive and discussion-based, emphasizing hands-on experience: Before the hunt, we’ll discuss strategies, monster behaviors, and optimal builds. During the hunt, I’ll offer live coaching, adjusting my weapon choice to best support the team. After the hunt, we’ll reflect on our successes, challenges, and ways to improve. I focus on positive reinforcement and growth mindset, reminding learners that every faint is a chance to learn and adapt. *****What Learners Can Expect***** Weekly themed hunts that explore different monsters, weapons, and strategies. Guidance on both beginner-friendly and advanced hunting techniques. Opportunities to experiment with different roles and playstyles. A supportive and engaging environment where teamwork is key. *****Is Experience Required?***** No prior experience is required! Whether you’re a brand-new hunter or have been playing for years, I will adjust the lessons to meet your needs. New players will get step-by-step guidance, while experienced hunters can refine their skills and take on greater challenges. This class requires learners to have online access to play Monster Hunter Wilds. Gamer tags will not be required—instead, learners will receive a private lobby code from the instructor to join the session. Learners should not share lobby codes during class time. The instructor will close the lobby at the end of class, making it inaccessible.
Learners will be placed in a private lobby during class, ensuring a safe and controlled environment. While in the lobby, learners will be able to see each other’s character names and hunter IDs, and their names may appear in each other's past interactions list within the game.
Content Advisory: Monster Hunter Wilds is rated T for Teen by the ESRB for fantasy violence and blood.
