Thundercake is the story of a little girl who comes face-to-face with things that frighten her in order to help her grandmother bake a cake before it rains. In the Berenstain Bear story, Sister Bear is afraid of the dark so Papa comes up with an idea to help her deal with that fear. I want to let the children know that they might not ever completely eliminate a fear but they can learn to deal with it. I will show them a trophy that was made just for me because l braved a life-long fear....
