In class, students will learn beginner math skills. They will learn to identify numbers, write numbers, skip count, add, and subtract. I will use the whiteboard and games to teach basic math skills. Students will be able to ask questions and work through problems with and without me, but I will always step in and guide them when necessary. I am very encouraging and love to help students see how fun math can be. We will start with numbers and work our way through calculations. Here is a sample of the schedule of topics that we will be working on in class. We will keep going and keep working towards more math topics. The class is for around pre-school to 2nd-grade level math. The Week of July 24th Identifying numbers 1 to 100 The Week of July 31st Adding up to 10 The Week of August 7th Subtract within 10 The Week of August 14th Adding up to 20 The Week of August 21st Subtracting within 20 and more. I will add the rest of the topics here that will follow kinder through 2nd math curriculum.

I have been teaching and tutoring for over 13 years, in the school setting and online. I have worked as a pre-school teacher in a private learning center, an elementary/middle school math/reading tutor online, and in the school. I want to create an educational and pressure-free environment, where students ALL OVER THE WORLD can enjoy learning!!! I teach all year long and even during most holidays.
I have a Bachelors degree in Psychology and a Master's of Social Work. I also have TESOL and TEFL: TEYL certifications. I am currently working towards my teaching license/ certification too. I am very patient and can guide students in their educational journey, every step of the way. I love to teach because I love to empower students and encourage them to take control of their futures. Beyond math and reading, I also enjoy teaching story improv, show and tell, how to start an online reselling business, personalized homework help, storytime, ESL, full curriculum, homeschool, private tutoring and more. I love learning new things about different cultures and hope to teach students from all over the world.

Regarding refunds, please follow Outschool’s policy. Try to pause class before Sunday evening or cancel more than 24 hours before. I will be limiting refunds for missed classes with no notification and very short notice cancellations. I will refund only in some situations.
