This class is designed to allow learners to join my Realm in a safe, secure place.  Leanrers will be able to meet new friends in class and just play Minecraft.   Students will be encouraged to build their own homes and help with farming, mining, fishing, making potions, ranching, battling monsters and so much more!  Please note this class is not for new players, this class is meant for seasoned players. Minecraft is one of the most popular games that can be found on almost every single gaming system.  It is a sandbox game that allows players to create what they can imagine.   This game came out in 2009 and has continued to evolve and make gameplay better and better.  The game draws in players from all age range groups, but kids love playing it.  It allows them the freedom to build anything their heart desires and gives them fun gameplay both alone and with friends.  The game starts with the player spawning into the world and then you have to build a shelter and not get attacked by monsters every night, and then end it by fighting a dragon!  The gameplay in this game is never-ending. 

When learners enter class I will help them if they need help to gather food, tools and other goods to survive.   I will help them build a house if they want one.  Learners will have to fight monsters, plant farms, build houses, make potions, create armor and tools, dig out ores, and much more.  Learners are encouraged to help each other when they can but are not required to, but are asked to be respectful to each other in and outside of class.  

Each week we will have something new to do.  Because Minecraft is a player driven game the material we cover can and will change every week, but here is a list of things we can cover:

-Building structures (houses, castles, fortresses, shops, mob farms, etc) 
-Mining for material (like gold, iron, redstone and diamonds)
-going into the Nether (fighting mobs, looking for Netherite) 
-Pillager Outposts 
-Ocean Monuments
-Nether Fortress
-End City
-Ancient City
-Stronghold
-Much more

This class is a multiplayer game and most of the time learners will play with other learners.  I do offer private lessons for learners to have more one on one time with me and get to know the controls and game better. I do not own the rights to this game, learners are required to own the game and play it on their own computers.  I rarely share my screen during class.  This class is designed only as a stepping stone to help kids learn the game, this class is intended to help kids connect with others and learn to play the game.

LATE/MISSED CLASS POLICY
All courses will begin on time as long as one learner is in the classroom. If no students are in the classroom at the assigned class time, the teacher will leave a message on the discussion board and exit after 10 minutes.  No refunds for missed classes per Outschool's policy.

I can respond directly to schedule requests! I check my requests daily and I will accommodate as many as I can! I also will accommodate the desire for private lessons, please message me about times and fees.

SIBLINGS:
If you have more than one learner enrolled in the class, each learner that wants to participate must be enrolled to be fair to other students participating. Enrolled siblings are always welcome to share a screen during class.

REFUNDS & TRANSFERS:
Per Outschool's limited refund policy: "Full refund within 24 hours of purchase or up to a week in advance of the class.", missed appointments do not qualify for a refund.

  If a student is late to class I will wait the required 10 minutes, unless contacted before class stating the student will be late.  

*Refund/Transfer Policy*
Per Outschool policy, there are no refunds or credits for missed classes. I will be glad to transfer your learner to another section if requested but require a minimum 24 hours' notice. This timing is necessary to fill the spot you are vacating. If I transfer you on short notice, I may not be able to fill your original spot, which means you are taking up two spots but only paying for one.
