Your student will be able to recite the multiplication tables for the 1s, 2s, 3s, 4s, 5s, 9's, and 10's.

As a chemical engineer and project management professional in the world of information technology consultants, I've completed over five levels of college calculus and applied mathematics and used these math and computing skills throughout my career.  I've also taught math in the public schools and in private and homeschool settings. I have over 16 years of teaching experience for K-9th grades.  I will add that even some of the more anxious students (according to their parents) notice right away that they are safe in this environment and beginning to have fun.

All work is done on Nearpod. Parents will have access to the reports on all of the interactive work and how their learner performed.  Professor Kitty pays close attention to the reports and if a learner is struggling will reach out to the parent with suggestions and possible short sessions to determine where the trouble spot is.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools. Nearpod is used and is a simple click with absolutely no need to register or log in.  All videos presented by the teacher and are very kid friendly. The way I use is as a teacher is to embed my teacher created recordings (of me teaching) in Nearpod so that Nearpod accesses the videos through my unlisted account on YouTube.  These are simply recordings of me teaching the class or a simple dog trick.

You don't need to do anything on your end as a parent. I only use these tools as a screen share. As a teacher, I have all the technology worked out and your student just clicks and goes.
