週あたり 2-4 時間. Each week, the students will receive three to five lessons in Google Classroom to increase the learner's understanding. Assignments include answering questions, fill-in-the-blank, open-response, and creative lessons. A quiz or game will sometimes be included in the assignments. Students will also complete three projects throughout the semester. Each project will be centered around one of the topics we are learning about and students will have a variety of choices to choose from that matches their interests. Examples of projects include: making a short film, developing a virtual presentation, writing an essay, creating a game, conducting a family interview, creating a fashion review, creating a pamphlet, and many more.

Students will receive a report every eight weeks that includes grades from assignments, projects, and participation. A final grade can be given if requested.

Welcome to US History!  Students will learn the history of the United States as it becomes a modern nation.

Students learn to use research, writing, and critical thinking skills in this class. Throughout the course, students will learn about the value of public service and the traits of good leaders.  Students will learn about history and explore themes of geography, economics, civic responsibility, and government.

**This class does NOT have a live meeting.** Each week a video will be posted in the classroom explaining the week's topics.

Each week, the students will receive three to five lessons in Google Classroom to increase the learner's understanding.  Assignments include answering questions, fill-in-the-blank, open-response, and creative lessons.  A quiz or game will sometimes be included in the assignments.    

Students will also complete three projects throughout the semester. This class is designed to align with a typical 1/2 credit for middle school students.  Parents should refer to regulations surrounding this for their state.

Week Sixteen: The Civil Rights Movement
