OF NOTE: Students who have already taken Life Science Semester 1 will be repeating that information. 

Want to stop the 'summer slide'? Looking forward to a summer of experiments? Then this Life Science Summer Session is for you! Come with me to study living things, large and small. What are the characteristics of all living things? How are a bacteria and an owl alike? Let's explore life science together! In this intensive summer session, students will meet twice a week and will have the opportunity for many experiments and even an owl pellet dissection. 

After the first class, each class will begin with any questions the students have about the homework or material covered the week before. Then the new material for that week will be presented; slides, videos, pictures, and actual demonstrations or labs will be used throughout the course. Messages in the classroom will be utilized if students have any questions on homework throughout the week.

Some homework assigned will be worksheets and others will be at-home experiments using household items. Please view the supply list for supplies. I will make sure to keep parents updated via classroom posts on what will be needed for each upcoming class. Homework assignments will be graded but grades are used at the parent's discretion.
 

Please note, fewer numbers of students may result in a shortened class time. 

There will be no refunds issued for a student(s) missing class.
