気象学: 冬の天気

In this multi-day course, students will learn all about winter weather. Students will learn the basics of winter weather, the different types and how winter storms form. Students will also learn how detection and forecasting of winter weather is accomplished. In this course, we will discuss winter weather vocabulary that is not as well known. This will include, thundersnow, white lightning, and nor'easters.

This course will be lecture-based with student output and discussion strongly encouraged, but not required. I will be using a slide show with images and short video clips to keep the students engaged.
