This is a broad introductory class that will cover a number of topics relating to medieval medicine. I chose to offer this class because I find the topic to be both interesting and not one that is generally taught on a regular basis. As for my background, I have a Master of Arts in Early European History, a certificate in Herbalism, and I have worked in the modern emergency medicine field for a number of years. Additionally, I write books that involve medieval folklore, superstitions, and herbal practices.
