Welcome to Mathletes Geometry: Exploring Triangles & Congruence! This course is designed to help your child build confidence in geometry by understanding key concepts like triangle congruence, properties of isosceles and equilateral triangles, and how to use postulates like SSS and SAS to prove triangles are congruent. Together, we will explore these topics through interactive lessons, hands-on practice, and real-world applications.

With our dynamic classroom environment, both homeschooled and traditional learners will work together to strengthen their understanding of geometric principles. As we journey through this subject, your child will gain not only mastery of geometry but also the skills to confidently approach future math challenges!

📓 Inside Our Classroom 📓

Each week, we will dive into a new geometry topic. We begin each class with a warm-up to review previous concepts and ensure a solid foundation. Following that, we dive deep into the current week’s lesson with a mini-lesson. Using the "I do, we do, you do" method, I’ll guide students through problems and encourage independent practice. We’ll wrap up each session with a fun and engaging activity, such as a game or hands-on exercise, to reinforce what they've learned.

📚 Ongoing Learning Support 📚

To ensure success beyond the classroom, I provide students with teacher-created printables for additional practice. These resources complement our lessons and offer a chance to master concepts. After each class, a YouTube link will be shared for students to review the material at their own pace. Throughout the year, I’ll also provide extra notes and resources to support both students and parents.

💻 What is Nearpod? 💻

Nearpod is an interactive platform that brings the classroom to life. Students can actively engage by solving problems, asking questions, and receiving feedback in real-time. As your child participates, I’ll be able to guide them individually through the learning process. Nearpod makes learning fun and accessible—students can also choose to use paper and pencil if preferred, as all materials are shared on Zoom.
