数学トーク：問題解決の強化 数学は私たちの周りにあります!

This Math Talks class will spark student curiosity as we solve real world math problems using a variety of pictures and visuals. Learners will gather information, ask questions and create a plan to solve a math problem.  We will estimate, collaborate and persevere to solve critical thinking math problems.  Each class will focus on a different math problem and involve various math concepts such as number sense, measurement, geometry, algebra and data management.  This class provides a safe space for math thinking. A great class for ALL math learners including those who don't typically love math. When students are curious about the math around them, they are motivated to persevere, problem solve and think like a mathematician.  Students will build a positive math mindset and have some fun while improving their problem solving strategies!
