What will be taught: Students practice algebraic expressions with variables. Students will learn to practice and solve algebraic expressions values for each of the variables given without exponents, negative numbers or positive. Students will learn and practice to solve with substitute numbers for variable to solve, that do not include parenthesis or exponents. Students will learn and practice to solve algebraic expressions that include positive and negative numbers as well as exponents. How will the lesson be taught: Students will engage in solving math problems, slides, discussion, whiteboard. Students have knowledge of basic math and some knowledge of integer rules.

Parental guidance is helpful in case of technical difficulty or help for logging on to the zoom. Students do not need any expensive toys, furnishings or other items. They do need well designed space that is safe for the student to do activities/projects. Parental guidance is necessary incase student needs help with an activity with guidance. Such as gluing, cutting with scissors etc. There are no third party websites that will be used for each week for the lessons or signing in for accounts.
