🌟Use Code PLANETRIVALS30 to get $30 off🌟 Note: This class is for console players only due to differences between console and PC players. Welcome to Marvel Rivals gaming club! In this class, students will be able to learn basic and core concepts of the new hit game by practicing with other students, led by Coach Cal (Calenna). Students will learn different character kits to utilize combos, understand different gaming modes, utilize character team-ups, learn how to counter other characters, and many other skills required for higher levels of play. Students will build their knowledge and may learn other strategies upon request and agreement between students. Coach Calenna will teach while in-game with students as we play together and even against each other! Where needed, students may also watch videos from pro-gamers to further enrich their knowledge. As new characters are added and as there are changes to current characters, strategies and advice will always be updated to match the mechanics at any given time. Classes work best with multiple students- bring your friends and let's play!

Marvel Rivals is rated T for teen due to the nature of the game. Parents should take caution before allowing their students to play and join this Outschool class.
In the game, there is a mode in which private games are created, and students will be able to join. While students and families may choose to interact outside of class, it is highly recommended that learners have their settings on for "streamer mode" to hide their usernames while in class. Parents also are encouraged to make console profiles private for safety purposes. If your child or you are unable to enter streamer mode, please be aware that in-game usernames would be shared during gameplay. There are voice chats and text chats in game- Coach Calenna will only use Zoom to communicate. Because of this, students on enemy teams may hear each other which does not match in-game experiences. Please ensure that learners have in-game chat option disabled prior to each class or use them appropriately. The only time chat should be used is for in-game pings, which are created by the game to quickly signify if a teammate needs assistance or where an enemy team member is. Adding each other in the game is NOT required to play unless the learner has restricted access in online and cross-platform gaming that requires adding someone before playing with them.
Console accounts and in-game accounts are required to play. Marvel Rivals itself is free to play, though there are in-game purchases for skins, nameplates, currency, and more. Because the game is free, online subscriptions should not be needed.
At times, we may refer to Youtube videos to watch pro-gamers. Precautions will be taken to ensure said gamers do not use vulgar or explicit language. Any use of explicit language by learners is prohibited may result in being put into Zoom waiting rooms.
Games will be attempted to be shared in the Zoom Meeting via PS remote play or private streaming services for safety purposes, but due to my laptop capabilities and safety concerns, this may not always be possible.

Coach Cal (Calenna) has consistently remained in the top 10% or higher in ranked matches since the release of the game. She currently is in the Grand Master rank, one of the highest ranked people in-game. Calenna has played in online games since she was a teenager, and they have been playing video games in general since they were a toddler. Calenna actively creates content for Marvel Rivals as player, including sharing advice and video game clips. Coach Ray is also a huge gamer, and he also recently started playing!レビュー
