このクラスで学べること

Students will be able to work on understanding their emotions, assessing where their trigger points stand, and manage a variety of ways in which they can stay calm and make the best choices. Better choices lead to better outcomes, and with time, students will be able to self-exercise the behaviors that make them feel most comfortable. 
I am a certified and experienced professional educator in the state of Florida with a strong background in children's psychology, and over fifteen years of experience working with multi-leveled and multi-aged students. 

I led an anger management group for select students of a school and had very successful outcomes. The same strategies will be used,  implemented, and practiced for this course. 

All my degrees are in education- highest degree is a Master's degree with multiple endorsements. 

I have extended experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and behavioral issues, as well as Speech and Language.

Learners will work on activities and small crafts individually or with family member(s), but are very much welcome to share their work and creations with me for feedback and praise. Exercises are rather quick and do not require much time.

Students will need a notebook that will only be used for this flex course. This notebook will serve as their guide to always refer back to, in case they need to touch back on information provided by me or their personal work pertaining to managing their emotions.

Additionally, students will need basic crafts for some lessons that are tied to crafty activities. Parents may improvise with materials they already have at home. 
Please note that these classes are guiding points to anger management, however not to be substituted for therapy sessions. 
Teacher will use material from research based articles and studies, in combination with a book that offers different strategies and fun activities that aid in understanding where anger comes from, triggers to anger, feelings and emotions tied to anger, and how to best manage oneself when feeling angry.
