Class Description:
The Beauty & Cosmetology: Makeup Artist Educational Training Program offers a comprehensive, hands-on learning experience designed for aspiring makeup artists. Over the course of 40 weeks, students will explore a wide range of makeup techniques, from everyday glam to special effects, while also gaining valuable insight into the professional world of beauty and cosmetology. This class covers everything from skincare basics, makeup application techniques, color theory, and special effects, to creating the perfect portfolio and marketing a makeup business. Students will also gain experience using high-quality tools and materials, such as makeup mannequins and practice boards, to perfect their craft.

Class Experience:
This course is structured to provide a balanced combination of instruction, practice, and feedback. Each week includes both theoretical lessons and practical hands-on labs, ensuring that students not only understand the techniques but can apply them confidently. Classes will meet twice a week for 30-minute sessions, with interactive activities, demonstrations, and discussions.

Each lesson will feature:

1.Step-by-Step Instruction: Clear, detailed instructions to help students master each technique.
2.Demonstrations: Live demos and video clips to show the application of skills in real-time.
3.Interactive Discussions: Opportunities for students to ask questions and discuss what they’re learning.
4. Hands-On Labs: Using makeup practice boards and mannequins, students will practice their skills, get immediate feedback, and refine their techniques.
5. Weekly Worksheets: Reinforce the lessons and ensure that students retain what they’ve learned.

Teaching Style & Interactions:
My teaching style is highly interactive and engaging. I aim to create a positive, supportive environment where students feel comfortable experimenting and making mistakes, as that’s often where the most learning occurs. The course is structured to include a mix of lectures, discussions, videos, and games to keep students engaged while ensuring they absorb the material effectively.

Students will have the chance to interact with me during each class, whether it’s through asking questions, participating in a hands-on activity, or receiving feedback on their work. I will provide one-on-one support as needed, guiding students through each lesson and offering constructive critiques.
