Together, we will create an exciting birthday card, starting with a two-tiered cake with colorful frosting and candles. We’ll add some flare with a hand-lettered “Happy Birthday” greeting at the top of the card, and fun elements. Students can choose whatever color palette they prefer based on their intended recipient. 

Students will be guided step-by-step and given creative liberty to change and adapt their compositions as we draw together. 

Card stock is preferred for this class as we’re aiming to create a sturdy and foldable card. 

***Please note, some students may not have time to finish coloring their card in class depending on their optimal drawing speed. I will work at a steady pace and frequently gage where students are at during the lesson. It is my goal to help them finish their drawing, but sometimes this doesn’t allow for coloring completion before class is over. Thank you for understanding.***
