Test various objects to see if they serve as conductors or insulators. Materials: Aluminum foil, coins, paperclips paper, plastic, spoons, alligator clip wires, mini lightbulb batteries, battery, battery holder, string, mini-motors, compass Week 4: Which kind of circuit produces brighter lights? Build series and parallel circuits to compare. Materials Alligator clip wires, mini light bulbs, batteries, light bulb holders and battery holders Week 5: How do we create an electromagnet? Create a magnet that can be turned on or off with electricity. Materials: batteries, a large bolt, insulated wires, and mini washers or small/medium paperclips, and battery holders
