I will teach what the Commander format is and guidelines to follow when building a commander deck from the ground up. We will discuss card ratio's (ex: how many lands to run in your deck) and card synergy (themes or combos that will help the deck run smoothly). The strategies will be presented using a Canva presentation. Students will have an opportunity to answer trivia questions and discuss commander strategies, favorite color combinations and Commander Politics (making friends or enemies on the battlefield).

The deck-building goal is to gain skills to build a Commander deck that will make you feel confident to play.The Victory goal will be learning strategies to win Commander games based on how you have constructed the deck.
