Hey everyone! I have been very busy performing around the world. I try to teach a few days each month. If you would like one of my classes scheduled on a particular date and time that is not listed, please send me a message. Please include your time zone in your message. ***************************** These classes are private one-on-one sessions. 1:1 This is listed as ongoing but I do them as single one-time classes. Due to my performance schedule, I am not available weekly. Most students do four classes or more. Each class is different. I have had some students do more than 30 classes. We work at the student's pace. The student will learn tricks, sleight of hand, techniques, and psychological principles used in magic. The customized class content will be discussed, if necessary, before the class. The class can be about new tricks or improving any existing tricks that the student already does. James will always have a trick ready to teach each class. Expect to learn one or two tricks each class. Harder, more impressive tricks. Close-up magic including cards, coins, and rubber bands will be a big part of the classes. Card techniques such as false shuffle, false cuts, stacked decks, card switches, card controls, forces, vanishes, and palming may be included in some of the lessons. Students can be complete beginners, intermediate or advanced. The classes will be customized to the student.

We will need a deck of cards. A second deck that is the same size but a different color will be needed in one of the future classes. Four coins - same size as each other, quarters, half dollars, loonies, Euros. A bill - any denomination a few paper clips some thin rubber bands We won't use everything but it will give us options to choose from.
