In this class students will learn short division!! The process is similar to long division but less steps are written down! The class will begin with a conversation about what division is. Next I will lead students through the steps for a short division followed by several examples. Then the students will be encouraged to try short division on their own! I will encourage student output through conversation, the chat box, and the whiteboard feature on zoom! This class will use real life examples to show how division can be used in the real world! By the end of this class students should have a basic understanding of short division!
