In this fun, one-time class, students will draw a person (themselves, if they wish) from an interesting angle that emphasizes a snowflake landing on the tongue. A plastic lid, such as one from a sour cream container, is a great tracer for the head, and is encouraged to maximize success. We will discuss drawing the face from a different angle, not seeing the eyes, what the hair might look like, and how the nose, teeth, ears and tongue look at this angle. As a licensed art teacher, I have developed techniques for breaking down drawing lessons into simple, easy-to-follow steps. Once we get the basics done, I give my students freedom to complete their project using their own imagination, thereby giving them the opportunity to take what I have taught them to a different, fun and creative level.
