Welcome to ASL Kids Club: Private Sign Language Classes for Homeschool Groups! Are you part of a homeschool group looking for a fun, visual, and engaging way to learn American Sign Language (ASL)? We’ve got you covered! Whether you're looking for a structured course or want something completely customized for your learners, our private group classes are designed to fit your needs. 👉 Here’s how it works: ✔️ Form a group of 3 or more students (siblings, friends, co-op, etc.) ✔️ Choose one of our pre-made ASL course outlines (like “My First Signs” or “Let’s Learn Together”) OR let us build a custom class just for your group ✔️ Pick a schedule that works best for your families ✔️ Enjoy weekly live online Zoom classes full of games, songs, visual learning, and hands-on fun Whether your group wants to learn signs for animals, food, daily routines, storytelling, songs, or even subjects like science or social studies—we can make it happen! Classes are 25–45 minutes (depending on age) and available for students ages 3 to 18. 👐 Taught by Deaf, Hard of Hearing, or fluent ASL instructors 🧩 Choose the themes, pace, and focus 🎨 Includes optional printable worksheets, sign charts, games, and videos 💬 Families can learn together or just the kids—up to you! 📅 Classes available once a week, twice a week, or on a custom schedule Want to work on fingerspelling, build conversation skills, or just play games in sign? Our instructors include nationally certified interpreters, seasoned Deaf educators, Deaf and HH experienced tutors, ensuring that every student receives the highest quality education.
Several of our teachers are Deaf, bringing invaluable perspectives and authentic experiences to our program. This diversity enhances our teaching approach, providing students with a deeper understanding and appreciation of American Sign Language and Deaf culture.
Ms.Trina is the founder of ASL Kids Club and has over 20 years of experience teaching and working in school districts with both Deaf and hearing children. This extensive background has allowed her to hand-select each teacher to ensure that students receive top-tier instruction.
Our educators boast impressive credentials and experiences:
- One teacher has spent over two decades as an Educational Interpreter and Tutor, working closely with deaf and hard-of-hearing students. Their passion for sign language is driven by personal experiences with Deaf family members.
- Another teacher is proficient in multiple languages, including English, Spanish, American Sign Language, and Nicaraguan Sign Language. With over 10 years of teaching experience, they have served in various roles such as teaching, assisting, and mentoring students and interpreters.
- We also have a Deaf educator with expertise in speech, lipreading, and sign language. Their patience and kindness have positively impacted many students through their work as a tutor and assistant teacher at the School for the Deaf.
Together, our team is committed to providing an enriching ASL learning experience that accommodates diverse backgrounds and fosters growth.
