Spelling:
Learners will have a take-away of the word-wall we create from each class.
From the word wall they will see  many ways a sound can be spelled, and know how to spell several words. 

Writing:
Students will write sentences using what they learn in the writing lesson.  

I'm a certified, experienced teacher (Master's of Education), who has taught all sorts of learners including those who are blind, and others with specific learning challenges including dyslexia.  I've had poetry published, and have always enjoyed and been a strong writer.  I used to play frequent word games and do writing activities with my children.  I taught my daughter to read and write and now she's a published author with three books in print!

For students who would like, I am happy to extend the class with a crossword puzzle they can complete in between meetings to practice words or a sentence writing task.  Please let me know if I forget to ask!
