This private class gives the tiniest of students an exciting and robust piano playing foundation with books from the well-loved Music for Little Mozart curriculum. Let’s create piano superpowers through structured assignments and just 15 mins daily practice! Each lesson is spent on two fun piano-playing exercises from our books and an optional game. We will go through a couple books from Music for Little Mozarts level by level per semester. New students will start on Level 1. Transfer students may be evaluated at Level 1, 2, 3 or 4 depending on prior learning! 

Parental Requirements:

An adult is needed to sit with the student, to keep the atmosphere structured and rewarding for all. 
Parent-guided, daily practice on 2-3 little assignments is required. Practice can be as little as three to five playthroughs per assignment (approximately 10 mins a day total). 

Level 1 Example Syllabus:

Class 1- These are my Claws: Proper Posture. This is High, this is Low. This is Loud, this is Soft. My Fingers have Numbers. 
Class 2- These are Two Black Keys. Quarter Note gets One Count. 
Class 3- These are Three Black Keys. Quarter Rest gets One Count. 
Class 4- Old MacDonald’s Farm. Rockin’ Pony Ride. 
Class 5- Help Dog Find D. Help Cat Find C.
Class 6- Mozart Mouse’s First Minuet. Half Note gets Two Counts. 
Class 7- Help Elle find E. Half Rest gets Two Counts. 
Class 8- Review. 
Class 9- Help Beethoven Bear find B. The B Song. 
Class 10- Whole Note gets Four Counts. The A Song. 
Class 11- Rainy Day. Little Dance.
Class 12- Off to Bed Song. Concert Day.
